Don’t miss the Golden Milk, a soothing, turmeric-infused treat that seems to warm from within, or the Oat Milk Masala Chai, whose fragrant spices dance on the palate with silky smoothness.

Customer experiences reflect a journey of flavors that sometimes surprises and delights. One visitor praised the complex yet balanced flavors while enjoying the golden milk, calling it a first-choice stop for future visits. Another noted the hearty, clean, and invigorating nature of the food, particularly the Indian and Nepalese-inspired specials that rotate regularly. The café’s casual atmosphere doesn't draw those seeking formal dining or upscale aesthetics but creates a cozy, inclusive space where food quality and authenticity take center stage.
At Annapurna’s World Vegetarian Café, food transcends mere sustenance. Each plate is a heartfelt expression of culinary respect for health, environment, and culture. Whether you’re a committed vegan, a curious vegetarian, or simply someone eager to enjoy fresh, vibrant dishes crafted with care, this café offers a flavorful gateway to global vegetarian cuisine that lingers in your memory long after the meal is over.
At Annapurna’s World Vegetarian Cafe I ordered the Falafel, but they only have a wrap, so I asked if they could make a sandwich they agreed and attempted to make one for me but it was not too great. I would NOT agree to their suggestion of cheese again on a falafel sandwich again overall the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I like that you can see into the kitchen too the fries were good, but the watery 'garlic sauce' will be a pass in the future Looking forward to trying more of their menu when I am in the area
This is my first time visiting the Santa Fe location. Nice ambience and excellent customer service! I ordered their delicious chai and Thai style stir fry, which wasn’t my favorite. They asked if they could comp my meal but I declined as it wasn’t bad, I think my stomach was off from traveling. I then ordered a cup of brown rice and black beans with pico, which was much easier on my stomach and flavorful. The staff very generously asked if I’d like something from the bakery to make up for the soup and I couldn’t say no, I choose the cardamom cookies. Mouthwatering! If a cookie can be soft and crunchy at the same time, they nailed it. Just the right size, light on the tongue and not too sweet. I will definitely be back!
Are you vegan or vegetarian? Do you believe that what you eat can define you? Do you like really, really clean, delicious, invigorating food? All of the above? Get over here! I haven’t seen a place this charmingly interesting since since I chased that arms dealer around Minos. Every day new vegetable special soups, Indian and Nepalese inspired dishes, and come on…..the Pad Thai is one of the best I’ve had. They even have a fantastically authentic tasting vegan saag (something I typically have to miss out on, but not here!) Tea and coffee selections are amazing, baked goods for sale, excellent service, the place looks amazing. Every time we stop through Santa Fe, we always stop at Annapurna’s. Absorb the amazing concept, savor the uniquely incredible dishes, feel the complete food heal and ignite your senses. You can’t go wrong.
“Is this the lowest level of restaurant that you have been” asked my new 11 year old friend when I took her and her mom for the first time to a vegan restaurant here. That probably says a lot even though she liked the bean soup. I don’t think that anyone comes here for ambience or great service, or to see nicely dressed people. Food is usually good but the quality varies from time to time, and by location. My favorite is stir fry with coconut milk. It’s much better in their Eubank location in Albuquerque. This was more watery and tasted salty. I prefer my broccoli be all green. They don’t seem to pay much attention to the quality of the vegetables. Sorry that I couldn’t give full five stars.
Super kind! It was so fun to hang out here. The food was delicious. Complex in flavors yet not overwhelming. The golden milk was so good! If I come back through this will be my first stop!
